The "Ten Days of Awe" begins on Rosh Hashanah and ends on Yom Kippur.
       
Rosh Hashanah begins on the evening of Sunday, September 16, 2012, and ends in the evening of Tuesday, September 18, 2012. 

Yom Kippur begins in the evening of Tuesday, September 25, 2012,  and ends in the evening of Wednesday, September 26, 2012.
