WRR Exclusive: Water Turns Red in Philippines the Day of the Blood Red Moon

(Siquijor, Philippines) On April 15th, 2014, water mysteriously turned red in color before the appearance of the blood red moon lunar eclipse.  Bryan Magsalay, a local resident, snapped these pictures of the stream as it passed through the town of Maria on the island of Siquijor.

What does this mean?  Does it have any prophetic implications?  Some may point to Revelation 16:4 which says,
"And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood." (Revelation 16:4)
However, if anything "became blood" would mean that it is now "blood", right?  The photos provided by Mr. Magsalay are certainly red, but I doubt that anyone would say that it is dark enough to be considered "blood red". Yet, it is still a strange phenomenon.  At the time of this publication, it is not known if any testing had been done on the liquid to determine the cause for the change in color.

By contrast let's look at a passage in the Bible that speaks of the moon becoming red in color:
"And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood" (Revelation 6:12)
Here in Revelation 6:12, we see that the moon "became as blood" or in other words it "looks like blood" or is "similar to blood".  While Revelation 16:4 says "became blood", Revelation 6:12 says "became as blood".  The difference between he two phrases being the presence of the word "as" in Revelation 6:12 and the absence of "as" in Revelation 16:4 which changes the meaning.

For instance, if I said that I "became a dog", then that would mean that I changed from being a person into a dog with fur, a tail, walking on four legs, and all.  However, If I said that I "became as a dog" then that could mean simply that I got down on my hands a knees and began barking like a dog--it certainly doesn't mean that I went through any type of metamorphic change.

Nevertheless, the fact that the color of the water changed so dramatically is still a very odd occurrence, but not without precedence.  The below video was shot in Nootdorp, South Holland, in the Netherlands.

The below picture was taken at the OC Fisher Reservoir in Texas, USA.

There are other documented instances where this similar event has occurred--feel free to search for them on the internet.  Note that the color of the water in both the Netherlands video and the Texas picture both are similar in color to the photos from the Philippines.  Some from the scientific community in Texas at that time said the red color o the reservoir was due to a lack of oxygen in the water which caused the bacteria to thrive. Namely, the bacteria is "chromatiaceae" which is the bacteria that those experts identified (read more here: http://www.wnd.com/2011/08/329421/).

I suspect the water in the Philippines and the Netherlands may have turned red for similar reasons, but still the unanswered question would be "why"?  If the changes in each occurred for this reason, then what caused the lack of oxygen?  If they occurred for other reasons, then what were those reasons?

The truth of the matter is that this is God's creation and everything happens in accordance with God's plan.  There are no mistakes, there are no insignificant occurrences, and each of these instances of water turning red all happened exactly when they did at God's pleasure.  Did they occur as a fulfillment of Bible prophecy?  The reason may not be so profound as that, but we honestly don't know.
